If anyone needs any sort of proof I’m not cut out for comics, here’s one
I storyboarded two chapters, had the entire story written out, and I gave up after 3 pages cause things were just taking too long haha (I think I did these a few years ago)
it’s a shame because it was a really cute idea imo, it followed a mouse who finds a young college student who can speak to animals - and has a power that grants changes to the animals she bonds to. They gain a human length lifespan, and attains sentience. The first few chapters is mostly about Peekaboo’s (nickname Peeka) change after being taken in by her, and a sort of existential crisis. His sentences slowly become more complicated, his eyes slowly change (black circles to sliiightly more human but not a whole lot or that would be creepy, but it’s purely symbolic/stylistic), his thought/speech bubbles changed from the black clouds to the usual white ones, and he comes to terms with knowing his existence in the universe.
But the rest are short stories about his life in the girl’s apartment, along with her three rats, four mice, and a cat who are like a big adorable family. There are also some local pets in the apartment complex who bonded with the girl as well, so they’re sentient too. I remember making a ragdoll cat character, a parrotlet, and a wild fox who the girl helped after he got hurt.
I’m really thinking of trying to start the comic up again. Start small. Smaller pages, a looser art style. idk, maybe I’ll actually go somewhere this time, haha.
